First, we checked the handle. A very nice line pattern with OD green color underneath and G-10 scales held together by four torx or star bolts. There is also a hole at the end of the handle for index finger or pinky finder depending on foil or reverse grip. On the top of the knife toward to handle there is very nice jimping that the users thumb would rest on in a normal foil grip, and also nice jimping on the ring of the knife if one holds the knife in a reverse grip for a person thumb rest.
The blade is 440A stainless steel and has a black finish that looks awesome. This is a karambit in shape and style, 100%. Thereis a starter line on the top begining of the blade, if a person wanted to grind a edge on top of the blade.
I have sliced thru cardboard boxes, paper, rope with no folding of the metal in regards to the edge.
The sheath looks like it is kydex, many carrying positions Also, there are six gromment holes that the user can use to secure the knife in other ways. This karambit would be awesome in a resuce or other tactical situation, and I cna honestly say that this knife matches other ones that are 5x the price. Just an awesome knife! - Tom
This karambit knife is a bit different. Right off the bat, you can see it has "no" handle scales. One advantage to a knife like this is thin, so you could really double this as a neck knife. The other thing, is you could either make your own custom handle slabs for it oruse paracord to wrap the handle. Also, you could use duct tape. Wrapng the knife with borth paracord or duct tape would give the user more options in a survial situation.

The sheath looks like it is kydex, the neck chain is light and easy on the users neck. Also, there are two gromment holes that the user can use to secure the knife in other way. A great thin body knife that is very solid- Tom

(Note, this is the same knife as the MT-665BG, in Tan (sand) color) - First, we checked the handle. A very nice line pattern with tan (sand) color underneath and G-10 scales held together by four torx or star bolts. (This is from the TAC-FORCE Speedster Model line of assited opening knives from MASTER Cutery. This is the first time that we have reviewed this line.)
First, we checked the handle. A very nice line pattern feels line G-10 scales. There are holes in the handle giving the knife more grip and also makes the knife lighter. On this Karambit knife there is no hole on the bottom of the handle, but there is a seatbelt cutter and also a glass breaker. There is also a pocket clip, "high in the pocket, tip down" configuration.
The blade is 440A stainless steel and has a two tone black and steel finish that looks awesome. The blade also has a semi serrated edge. The knife is spring assited and there is a "flipper" on the top of the handle that if lightly pushed back causes the blade to be deployed fast. There is also a thumb hole in the blade as well for opening the knife. True one handed opening.
I have sliced thru cardboard boxes, paper, rope with no folding of the metal in regards to the edge.

First, we checked the handle. A very nice small line pattern feels line G-10 scales. There are holes in the handle giving the knife more grip and also makes the knife lighter. There is also a hole at the end of the handle for index finger or pinky finger depending on foil or reverse grip. The ring also could be used a glass breaker, if needed.
On the top of the knife toward to handle there is very nice jimping that the users thumb would rest on in a normal foil grip, and also nice jimping on the ring of the knife if one holds the knife in a reverse grip for a person thumb rest. There is also a dul thumb stub on the blade as well, for opening the knife. True one handed opening.
I have sliced thru cardboard boxes, paper, rope with no folding of the metal in regards to the edge.

A really great knife all around.

Again, we checked the handle. A very nice small checked pattern feels like G-10 scales, there is also finger grips molded into the handle. There is also a hole at the end of the handle for index finger or pinky finger depending on foil or reverse grip. The ring also could be used a glass breaker, if needed.

This is a unique rescue knife, reminds me of a diving knife.
The handle has nice checked pattern on the aluminum scales. The scales are painted fluorescent yellow, if your out in the woods or if conditions are very dark outside, you'll like the bright yellow even more in case you drop the knife on the ground. On the bottom of the handle there is a seatbelt cutter and also a glass breaker. There is also a pocket clip, "low in the pocket, tip down" configuration.
The blade is 440A stainless steel and has a black finish. The knife has a thumb hole for opening and liner lock that is very secure. This is a manual knife "not "a spring assited. The another thing to note about the blade, it is semi serrated with "no" tip. The reason why there is no tip, is that equipment or people will not be injured by the tip when cutting as there is only the edge.
I have sliced thru cardboard boxes, paper, rope with no folding of the metal in regards to the edge.
A really great knife for emergency crews.
